Hello! Webmaster speaking! I figured I'd get some stuff about me and this website out of the way.
I'm Chris! I'm an artist with adhd and a special interest in Portal.
I played the games back in 2021, it caught my attention but it didn't really become one of my main fixations until 2022, where my love of it got rekindled by an ex-friend of mine. Since then it's quickly become one of my favourite games and media period, becoming possibly one of my biggest interests.
Why Wheatley?
Portal is home to a lot of characters I adore, the writing of them I've gravitated to a lot, especially Wheatley's. I find his character really interesting and well written, there's a lot of things about him and his story that I've latched onto for awhile but I'm not exactly sure why. I dunno I just like him.
Additionally he's just really easy to draw. Look at this baby that I whipped out in under 2 seconds. Thats the power of muscle memory.
Why a Website?
HTML coding is something that I've always wanted to do, I picked it up in 2019 and ever since then I've been on and off with it making multiple unfinished personal websites and such. I've also been curious about the concept of character shrines and fansites, someone pouring their heart into making a website for their interests has always been appealing to me. So basically this website is just a case of two of my interests combining into one thing lol.
